Das coisas belas e desenhadas - 1st Edition
Synopsis
This book aims to respond to my students' request for a publication that embodies the guiding thread of ideas from the Aesthetics and Design Phenomenology classes. But now that it's finished, I hope the topics covered will attract the interest of other heterogeneous and diverse readers. This book encompasses a diversity of subjects and authors from different disciplinary fields, with an emphasis on phenomenology, which contribute, in different ways and in various contexts, to understanding and interpreting the unifying subject: what do we mean when we speak of beautiful things and designed things? What do we mean when we make beautiful things and designed things? What relationship exists between "beautiful" and "designed" things? What are these things for the individual in their singularity and in their condition as an inhabitant of the private home and the global world who, in everyday life, experiences the banal and the extraordinary?
