Synopsis

This volume brings together a current and interdisciplinary reflection on the challenges of the digital humanities, exploring themes such as communication, culture, education, the ethics of artificial intelligence, digital literacy, and inclusion. The work is the result of a joint project between the University of Aveiro and the State University of Goiás, integrating contributions from professors and researchers from both countries. Organized into nine chapters, the volume articulates theoretical and practical perspectives, analyzing issues such as lifelong learning, connectivity and remote teaching, storytelling with AI, educational policies, and inclusive gamification. The Portuguese-Brazilian dialogue that structures the work reinforces the relevance of understanding the digital world as a critical, human, and socially transformative space.
